Has there been any discussion on dues late in the season? Prorated or rollover to 2011?

That hasn't been discussed at any of the board meetings. I can bring it up at the next meeting on Monday, August 2nd and let you know.

I'm interested in that also. Its like $95 a year Jan-Dec (I think?) It would be good if it could be pro-rated so people could join in the middle of the year and not pay the same as for less time. Or if it could be for 12 months from the month you paid. That would be great!

Ditto... I was curious as well. If I remember correctly there was a point in time during the current season when you could buy your membership for next year and it would count for the rest of the existing year as well. For example let's say the season ends in October of 2010 and if you bought your membership for the next year (2011) in September of 2010 then you could use the track from September 2010 to December 2011.

That might be a great way to gain new members. It's like getting a full quarter for FREE. Granted you're not turning too many practice laps in November and December but it's still a good deal and could make for a great membership drive promotion... Just a thought.

Thanks,

Chris

We will have an answer next week. I will say that it is only July so your memberships now are for 2010 only. We will get a cut off date for you after the board meeting. We woud not do pro rated, but a rollover date makes sense.

Angela, what did you do in the past?

Mike,

Sounds great... Thanks for the update! By the way, I wasn't pushing for anything in my previous post I was just making an example. I hope it didn't come off sounding like that.

During my first year I didn't race until October and I bought my membership and it rolled over to include the next year. I remember it vividly because Kaylee kicked my butt in my first race. I think she was 13 at the time and I'm sure she was saying, "Get out of my way old man"

Chris

The board has decided to go with past precedence. Therefore, if you pay your Annual Membership dues after Oct 1st, then the monies will carry over to the following year's membership.

If you have any questions please feel free and contact any of the board members.

So, just so I'm clear.... I can pay for 1 year's membership on Oct 2, 2010 and I will be good thru Dec 31, 2011 ? Is that correct?

Yes. If you pay after Oct 1, 2010; your dues will pay through Dec 31, 2011. The board decided this, since use of the Liberty track in Oct, Nov & Dec is sketchy due to weather.
